West Seattle is a peninsula surrounded on three sides by Puget Sound and connected to the rest of the city by bridges across the Duwamish River. Once there you get a feeling of a small town in the midst of a large metropolitan city of Seattle. The local Admiral Theater has entertained generations of movie-goers and now dozens of diverse restaurants are available for dining pleasure. The High Point development site covers 130 acres, 1600 residential units, several neighborhood facilities, a new neighborhood retail center (to include a grocery store), and 22 acres of parks. A new 7000sf public library and a new health center have already been built. The neigborhood is a mix of townhomes, carriage homes, condominium flats, attached and detached single family homes.
